Here's what I've learned matters most to people: it isn't the clever stuff. It's turning up when you said you would. Explaining what's wrong without making anyone feel daft. Charging a fair price and saying it up front. Being the one person in the chain who's actually straight with you.
I've been fixing computers for 26 years, all across Yorkshire — homes, small businesses, hardware repair right down to the circuit board. There's not much I haven't seen.
That's why I started Sovereign Tech. Too many people have been talked down to, overcharged, or told "just buy a new one" by someone who couldn't be bothered to look. I'd rather be the last point of call — the one who fixes what others gave up on, or tells you straight when it's time to let go.
The name's not an accident. Sovereign means you're your own master — and that goes for your computer too. Your photos, your files, your privacy: they're yours. I'll help you keep them that way, whether that's a solid backup so you never lose a photo again, or setting things up so you're not bleeding your whole life to the big tech companies.
